Open packaging pouch by tearing off the top part from one of side notches.c. Remove the Breakthrough Indicator from the packaging pouch.d. Remove the 2.5” threaded plug from the outlet lid of carbon absorber.e. Remove the protective red plug to activate the breakthrough indicator.f. Thread the Breakthrough Indicator into the 2.5” threaded carbon absorber outlet lid.g. Replace carbon absorber when the Breakthrough Indicator changes color to purple.THE EXHAUSTED AMMONIA BTI 3 CAN BE REUSED BY REPLACING THE CONSUMEDAMMONIA INDICATOR ASSEMBLY WITH A FRESH INDICATOR ASSEMBLY (PN: 433-1600) AND FRESH ACTIVATED CHARCOAL.
