PODZ Egu is a manhole insert fitted with an activated carbon filter designed to reduce odorous gases from industrial utility and public underground sewer collection systems. Odours emanating through maintenance hole covers of wastewater sewer lines can be a serious nuisance to public facilities, residential homeowners and pedestrians, impeding the quality of life. The PODZ Egu activated carbon filters are specially designed to reduce sewer odours, trapping malodorous hydrogen sulfide (H2 S) and other annoying gases without interrupting the air flow through the system.
