A unique, porous plastic tube that provides fluid filtration capabilities well-suited to candle filter applications. POREX MacroFlow PE Tubeprovides fluid filtration capabilities well suited to candle filter applications. Polyurethane and polypropylene endcaps are available on 2.4 inch OD tubes. POREX MacroFlow PE Tubes are designed to fit standard Schedule 40 PVC end fittings and couplings. Manufactured of porous polyethylene (HDPE or UHMWPE), it is available in 5, 10, 20, and 50 micron pore sizes. The omnidirectional porous structure is excellent for filtration and separation, as well as cleaning and backwash.
