All machines in the standardrange have 5.5kW motors and a twin ram force of 30 tonnes. It has a compaction ratio of up to 6:1and is therefore capable of producing payloadsfar in excess of conventional compactors with theadded advantage of being 100% leak-proof andodour proof. Portable compactors have many benefits:reduced fire risk, improved hygiene due to lessrefuse spillage, restricted entry to vermin andinsects and minimisation of odours due to itsclosed design. Portable compactors are moresuited for food waste applications. Enclosed portable compactors are more suitablewhere sites have ‘open access’ areas to thepublic. It is of conical construction whichguarantees trouble free emptying and ensures aquick turn around at the land fill site.
