The Heron Power Reel can hold tape lengths from 2000ft (600m) up to 3500ft (1100m)* The power source is 12 volt DC that can be taken from the regular 12v system on trucks or light pickups. The Power Reel makes easy work of lowering and raising these longer tape lengths into and out off the well. A hand crank is also included in case of power failure. The Heron Power Reel module is fitted with an up/down control and suitable leads to connect to a vehicle battery. The control unit is fitted with momentary switches that revert to “off” when they are not held in the “on” position.The Heron Power Reel makes easy work of winding longer length Heron tapes.
