Prepare Fraser Broth (Base) (TN 1257) according to instructions, autoclave and cool down to 50 °C. Dissolve the contents of one bottle of  Ammonium Iron (IIII) Citrate  Supplement and one bottle of Acriflavin Nalidixic Acid  Supplement in 2 ml sterile distilled water each, and add  these to 2.25 l sterile base culture medium when it has  cooled down to 50 °C. Mix well and fill into sterile
containers.
