The system includes a PSA-240H PTE Pumping Station and anumber of low pressure distribution pipeunits (the number depends on the dailywastewater flow, the number of bedroomsand the type of leaching system). FEATURES• System includes perforated pipes and aPSA-240H PTE Pumping Station• Ten 4.8 mm (3/16") orifices per unit, 1.2 m (48") apart • Orifice shields connected on perforatedpipes• 50 mm (2") main pipe in PVC SCH 40• 25 mm (1") distribution pipes in PVC SCH 40• Pressure head at orifices between 0.9 and 2 m (36" and 80")• Access pipes at each end of distributionpipes for easy cleaningOPERATING PRINCIPLE To prevent undesirable septic tank effluentparticles from entering the distributionpipes, a PTE Effluent Filter must beinstalled in the septic tank or in a separatePTE Filter Container. Septic tank effluentflows into the PTE Pumping Station, fromwhere it is delivered to the PTE LowPressure Distribution System (controlleddoses, wastewater flow, pressure head at ori-fices, etc.). This pumping station model isespecially designed to ensure even distribu-tion of effluent over the filter bed (seepagebed, aboveground or standard sand filter).
