Premier Tech Environment (PTE) has developed a complete line of decentralized wastewater treatmentproducts and services. Its PSA-240, PSA-240L and PSA-240H PTE Pumping Station models are pre-assembled and ready to plug-in. These models are available for different types of applications. Their one-piece, polyethylene construction ensures the units are watertight, eliminating the risk of seepage andinfiltration. Another model, the PSA-240L, is especially designed to handle treated effluentfrom the Ecoflo® Biofilter STB-500/650with Submersible Collecting Bottom. ThePSA-240H model is engineered to fit withlow pressure distribution system for drain-field.OPERATING PRINCIPLE Installed downstream from the septic tank,the PSA-240 and PSA-240H PTE PumpingStations send septic tank effluent to the treat-ment system in controlled doses (adjus tedusing on/off floats). The PSA-240L model isalways installed downstream from theEcoflo® Biofilter with Submersible Collec -ting Bottom, as close as possible to the Bio fil-ter. Treated effluent enters the tank, where itcan be pumped to either an absorption fieldor a tertiary treatment unit.
