PULSCO Surge Control Systems are designed to mitigate pressure spikes in pipelines caused by sudden pump start-up or shut down by providing controlled air volume sized for specific pumps,  owing medium, and pipeline profile. The controlled air volume maintains pressure within an acceptable range by mitigating transient pressure waves within the system, preventing catastrophic failures which reduce overall cost of pipelines.
