The Rotary Drum and electronic controller ship in a box separate from the Boom. To protect the sensor probe from damage, the probe is positioned against the Rotary Drum under tension. Simply press the Brake Lever to release the tension and pull the sensor away from the drum. The Controller mount is designed to allow it to rotate if inadvertently knocked. Simply position the display at a comfortable angle and tighten the Housing Knob. The Rotary Drum is ready for Boom installation.
