To provide a project plan of what is to be done in time for the registration dead-line June 2013. To complete the tasks that are to be un-dertaken by both LR and SIEF mem-bers by producing registration dossiers. REACH Awareness Boot Camp Are you new to REACH? Do you want to get familiar with REACH in an efficient and practical way? Do you want to learn REACH saving money? The REACH Awareness Boot Camp is a one week training programme combining presentations of the legisla-tion with exercises to put into practice what has been explained. The boot camp will be enriched by persons who have been through the process of REACH registration coming in to share their experiences. This is one a series of pro-grams examining in details aspects of REACH and how to prepare for the process. The challenge is for the groups (made up of people who may have similar backgrounds or not) to undertake tasks during the week to arrive at the end of the week with an example of a completed joint submission registration. The term 'boot camp' is used to describe there is a need for co-operation and team ef-fort – similar to what will eventually happen in the SIEFs. This course is designed to push people a little bit further than they would normally push themselves to find out more and apply their judgments to the successful conclusion of REACH. The idea is that everyone involved will team up and work towards the same one goal. Boot camps provide peer support for those taking part. This provides a different environ-ment for those who are new to REACH, new to their role and are expected to develop a high level of knowledge within a short space of time. At the end of the sessions over the week the participants will be tested to confirm they have acquired the necessary level of understanding and competence. Successful candidates will receive a certifi-cate as evidence of their achievement.
