The REPCO RA Acid Neutralizer raises pH and AlkalinityThe REPCO RA Acid Neutralizer Is the Solution Benefits of pH Balanced Water: • Eliminates corrosion in the plumbing system, stopping fixture deterioration, pinhole leaks, and blue staining • Clearer water at the tap • Prevents costly repairs of plumbing fixtures as well as general maintenance, adding years to the life of your home Standard Equipment Includes: • Crushed and screened white marble limestone neutralizing media known as “Neutralite” • VortechTM style tank conserves natural resources by eliminating the use of gravel support beds and lowering the required backwash time and flow rate, saving you money by conserving water • Full 1” Internal Piping • Twin motor automatic backwashing control valve, capable of being custom tailored to your specific application. Removal Process: • Acidic water slowly dissolves the Neutralite media to raise pH and increase alkalinity Application Benefits: • Neutralite increases alkalinity and raises low pH in the water to correct for acidic conditions • There is no need for chemicals, eliminating regeneration – only periodic backwashing is required • RA units are programmed on a 12-day timer, and are set to regenerate on the day and time of your choice • Filters down to 20 – 40 micron Required Conditions: • Works effectively on water having a pH range of 6.0 or greater • For pH levels lower than 6.0, a blend of Corosex is added for improved performance, signified by an X model number • The mineral will slowly dissolve and become depleted over time and will need to be replenished • A slight increase in hardness will result when the RA unit is operating correctly.
