This enables lower cost designs, lower weight, and size reductions over conventional non-replicated optics. Replicated optics also can be provided with integrated mounting features that ease alignment and installation. The process transfers the optical features from a “master” to a host substrate. Once transferred using our proprietary epoxy and coat-ing process, the host substrate assumes the properties and performance of the “master” optic. This batch pro-cess is repeatable and, depending upon the master, can be produced in significant volumes with a single run. OPCO has a variety of “master” optics in inventory or a custom “master” can be created for any application.
