Open the back, and you come to the heart of The Responder, the 13-cfm compressor.(Larger units are available.) The CO monitor fulfills NFPA 1989 regulations. As the SCBAsare being filled from the 2000 cubic feet of stored air, the compressor is busy replenishingthe storage system.Air is pumped directly to the storage cylinders and fill station in the front compartment. Depending on your setup, the customcontrol panel manages low pressure andhigh pressure fills made outside the trail-er, with 100 feet of fill hose (each), andseparate regulator and gauges. These units are custom built to theneeds of each department. For the unitbelow, a spare fuel tank ensures the compressor is ready for an extended stay.The SCBA rack has spaces for 14 spare bottles.Cabinets can hold SCBA masks and parts, emergency provisions, first aid, Haz Mat, communicationequipment, ropes and lines, and more.Recharge lights or phones, plug inthe computer, do quick repairs.How will the Responder Air and Light Trailer best fit?The Standard Responder comes loaded with:• Custom deluxe trailer, 16-foot tandem axles torsion bar suspension• BAUER H13-D 6000psi, 13 cfm compressor, with CO Monitor• Divider wall vender windows for easy access, maximum ventilation. • Four 6000psi DOT/UN cylinders, to hold 2040 cubic feet of stored air• CFSII2Sx4x4 BAUER containment-style fill station, to meet NFPA 1901 standards• 6 KW generator with diamond plate cover. Both reels have electric rewind.The two 500-watt scene lights are storedinside the sheltered work area; whendeployed, the lights can be moved anywhereat the emergency site. Four 6000psi storage cylinders carry over2000 cubic feet of stored air. When they get low, the compressor is called into service.The trailer can come standard in red,white, black, or any stock color.
