Screw Press

The Screw Press is a dewatering device in which a screw rotates inside a cylindri-cal perforated screen ( V-Wire technology )and normally constructed of stainless steel AISI 304. Screen sleeve from 0.2 to 0.5 mm perforation are standard. Material entering the top hopper is subjected to gradually increasing pressure as it move toward the exit if the press, forcing the liquid phase to extrude through the screen. Dewatering of sludge or manure has proven successful over a wide range of application. Final pressing is control by a angled pipe that provide adjustment of moisture content by design of angled pipe length.
