SECurus Certification Course

The goal with the certification course is to ensure an understanding of the SECurus system’s functionality and possibilities, in addition to show how this system can be used in case of a variety of emergency situations. This is essential operational knowledge for operators/end users and onshore oil spill response management, but also for personnel in charge of the organization’s emergency plans.The training course consists of several sessions with main focus on oil spill, and how the SECurus is used to verify and monitor oil spill. This information is critical for choosing the most efficient methods before, during and after an accidental spill, in addition to document the events and the processes. Included in the training are also various types of applications for the SECurus, in example search and rescue (SAR).
