Silence Button Instructions

1. INSTALL BATTERYRemove the cover and snap battery into battery snap.2. PUSHBUTTON BEHAVIORIn an alarm state the button will silence the audio buzzer while the LED keeps blinking until the alarm is corrected. If not in alarm state, the button tests the circuit.The circuit board is capable of two other behavior modes:• Pushing the button silences the alarm as above but every 10 minutes the audio buzzer sounds again. (snooze alarm mode)• Pushing the button shuts off the audio buzzer and LED to conserve battery power. (shutoff mode)Call Gizmo Engineering for details on how to change between modes.3. BATTERY• The circuit board draws only 36 microamps while in standby mode. As a result the battery should last for a long time according to this table.• A low battery condition is signaled with beeping, and flashing LED for approximately 5 seconds every 30 seconds.
