AQUATITE TOILET PANSEAL Tool requirements • None, other than an ordinary bicycle pump or small air pump (Floodtite can provide a small air pump for £8 incl VAT and delivery – see www.floodtite.com ) Fitting Instructions for Floodtite’s Aquatite Toilet ‘Panseal’ • Floodtite’s unique Aquatite ‘Panseal’ is specifically designed to prevent sewage backflow through the toilet system. • Position the ‘Panseal’ just below the rim of the toilet. • Inflate the ‘Panseal’ using an air pump until a firm seal is created. (The valve is the same as a bicycle or car valve). A watertight seal is achieved between the tubing and the inner wall of the pan and a secondary seal is formed underneath the rim. • To deflate after use, press in the pin in the centre of the valve. You can use your finger or your fingernail or the tip of a biro. • It is a good idea to practise installing the panseal to ensure you are familiar with its use, so that when you install it for a flood it is not your first time. • After use, remember flood water and back flow water is potentially contaminated water. Always clean the product carefully after use with a disinfectant, and dry well. • Store in a cool dry place that is easily accessible in the case of flood. Store away from sharp objects. • A strong recommendation is to keep a small bicycle pump nearby so that it can be quickly used. • Technical helpline: 07712 185240 email: tech@floodtite.com Floodtite Systems Ltd, 500 The Broadway, Muswell Hill, London N10 1BT Telephone:0208 442 0872 info@floodtite.com www.floodtite.com Registered in England and Wales company number 04688715 VAT reg no. 819 571 405 (6-1010)
