RUNI SK370 screw compactor efficiently separates food content and liquid from its packaging in a continuous
process leaving the reject dry enough to send it to incineration or recycling instead of sending it to landfill at
much higher cost. The conditions at plants for biomass production of food waste are very demanding. The plants
are working 24/ all year round. In the waste material there are often some abrasive elements like sand and other
unexpected “surprises”. In some cases, we have seen very large pieces of metal, which the RUNI have been
able to handle. Therefore, great demands are required of the machine and RUNI can do it .
