Solar Survey Multifunction Solar Irradiance Meters 100/200RSeries

www.seawardsolar.comSolar Survey 100/200R SeriesTheultimate solar site-survey toolSOLARThe Solar Survey series of irradiance meters arethe perfect tools for solar photovoltaic and solarthermal installers to conduct comprehensivesolar site surveys. These rugged handheld units not only measure irradiance, but also have a built-ininclinometer to measure roof pitch, compass to measure roof orientation and thermometerto measure ambient air and module temperature. These unique additional features makes theSolar Survey 100 and 200R truly versatile and indispensable instruments, ensuring optimumconditions for every system you install. The 200R now features new SolarlinkTM connectivity which allows it to wirelessly give thePV150 real-time irradiance, ambient temperature and PV module temperature measurementresults simultaneously to electrical tests being conducted, as required by MCS and BS EN62446 standards. Results can be downloaded from the PV150 into certification software. The Solar Survey 200R model also includes a data logging facility with USB interface fordata download to a PC. This allows for irradiance and temperature to be recordedat user-defined intervals over a number of hours or days, the collected data can then bedownloaded to a PC for analysis of for inclusion in installation reports.KEY FEATURES:Suitable for both photovoltaicand solar thermal installationsMeasures irradiance as requiredby BS EN 62446Built-in compass andinclinometer measure rooforientation and pitchDual channel temperaturemeasurement200R features SeawardSolarlinkTM for wirelessconnectivity with the PV150Solar Installation tester(available seperately)Built-in data logger and USBinterface (Solar Survey 200Rmodel only)Rugged, robust and handheldwww.seawardsolar.comSOLARThese high specification irradiance meters simply and quickly measure the sun’s energy, displaying the information in either W/m2 or BTU/hr-ft2, making them ideal for both solarphotovoltaic and thermal applications. The use of a photovoltaic reference cell, provides a more representative measurement of solarenergy and greater accuracy and repeatability compared to irradiance meters which use simplephoto diode detectors. The Solar Survey 100 and 200R both incorporate a display hold feature, which enables theuser to easily capture readings in difficult locations.ALSO AVAILABLE:PV150 Installation Test KitSolarCert ElementsTest Reporting & CertificationSoftwareSolar Power ClampSolar Certificate and ReportPadsSolarlinkTM ConnectivitySolarlinkTM connectivityenables irradiance tobe displayed and forirradiance, module andambient temperatureto be recorded withthe PV150 (availableseparately) in real timeas electrical tests areconducted.TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION:IRRADIANCEDisplay Range 100 – 1500 W/m-2 or 30 – 500 BTU/hr-ft2Measurement Range 100 – 1250 W/m-2 or 30 – 400 BTU/hr-ft2Resolution 1 BTU/hr-ft2 / 1W/m-2TEMPERATUREDisplay Range -30°C to +125°CMeasurement Ranges -30°C to +125°CResolution 1°COMPASS BEARINGDisplay Range 0° to 360°Measurement Ranges 0° to 360°Resolution 1°INCLINOMETERDisplay Range 0° to 90°Measurement Ranges 0° to 90°Resolution 1°DATALOGGING AND CONNECTIVITY (SURVEY 200R ONLY)Datasets 5000Sample Rate 1 to 60 minutes (user definable)Datalogging Download utility software includedCompatible with SolarCert Elements software (version 1.1)Connectivity USB download to PCWireless ‘SolarlinkTM’ to PV150 (range c. 100m / 330 ft)GENERAL SPECIFICATIONSDisplay Custom LCDPower Supply 2AA Alkaline BatteriesBattery Life >20,000 ReadingsAuto power down After 2 minutesSERVICEABILITYWarranty 2 yearsCalibration 1 yearADDITIONAL INFORMATIONSupplied with calibration certificateSolar Survey 100 Part No: 396A910Solar Survey 200R Part No: 396A914Rev 5.1www.seawardsolar.comSOLARSeaward, Bracken Hill, SouthWest Industrial Estate,Peterlee, County DurhamSR8 2SW United KingdomTel: +44 (0) 191 586 3511Fax: +44 (0) 191 586 0227Email: sales@seaward.co.uk
