The SPC Unit complies withOSHA on operations generating welding fume,dusts from grinding or sanding, and otherprocesses. It also complies with OSHA’s newHexavalent Chromium standard. Typically usedfor control of low to moderate concentrations ofdry contaminants, the SPC Unit is provided witha cost effective manual push button pulse-jetfilter cleaning to minimize filter maintenance andreduce replacement filter costs.The SPC Unit has a horizontally mountedcartridge for lower center of gravity making it asafer unit. The Small Portable CartridgeCollector can be configured several differentways. Multiple inlets to include either extractionarm, downdraft bench, or slotted backdrafthood. Typically used for light tomoderate concentrations of dry contaminants, theSPCB-1000 is the AER Control Systems’ Small PortableCartridge Collector with a downdraft table top mountedon top of the SPC-1000.The SPCB-1000 is compact and portable, the top isan aluminum surface to protect against parts thatcannot be scratched and can support a table load of 50pounds per square feet maximum. The top has a backenclosure with hinged side wing panels. The filter in theSPCB-1000 is a 99.97% HEPA-like efficiency pleatedFlame Retardant media cartridge. The cleaning system isa manual push button filter cleaning system The SPCB-1000 has a design airflow of 1000 CFM. Downdrafttable top velocity is 250 feet per minute. The SPCB-1000 is designed to be powered up as soon as youreceive it by offering a power cord and switch operatingat 115 volts.
