POLYURETHANE HYBRID ELASTOMERDescriptionSprayShield GT is a solvent-free, two-component polyurethane/ polyurea hybrid elastomeric coating. This durable product cures to form a flexible, seamless membrane for concrete and geotextile substrates in secondary containment applications. It is ideal for preventing leaks and spills of wastewater, fuels and many other chemicals. The cured polymer has exceptional resistance to impact, disbondment and chemical attack. SprayShield GT has a very short reaction time. Material supply (drums of A and B) should be agitated and heated as necessary prior to application. Vent material supply containers with nitrogen or desiccant. Material components A and B should be heated to 140-150°F upon application to ensure proper mixing and sprayability. Pressure gauges should be 2000-2400 psi to ensure proper mixing of the material components. If pressure differences of greater than 500 psi exist between components A and B, stop spraying and examine equipment. Spray part with an adequate amount of material to promote good flow and leveling. A final thin coat is recommended over entire part to promote smooth finish.pacKaging , storage & shelf lifeSprayShield GT is supplied in two 55-gallon drums: Components A and B. Keep drums tightly sealed until ready for use to prevent atmospheric moisture from contaminating material. Store material at temperatures between 50-80°F (10-27°C) in a dry well ventilated area. Ensure that material does not freeze. Material has a minimum shelf life of 12 months after the date of manufacture if properly stored.safety precautionsSpraySheild GT IS FOR INDUSTRIAL USE ONLY. Avoid contact with eyes, and skin; do not inhale or ingest. When working with this material wear goggles, rubber gloves and a respirator.
