IRON These induction sensors separators are able to separate with high precision, stainless steel and other metals from plastic. The separator sensors, is able to refine the work done by other magnetic separators which have removed completely the other ferrous and non-ferrous metals. ASM has developed a specific sensor- separator for all fine material: is possible to pick up a stainless steel flakes up to 3-5 mm in size hidden in plastic flakes with size up to 10-15 mm, producing the waste lowest than the normal magnetic separators. The field where this separator for stainless steel has a great importance is the regenerated plastic sector, where small fragments of metal, especially stainless steel, can create big problems in very expensive equipment and therefore reductions in production, downtime, costs high maintenance and frequent.
