The Statox 560 sensor head is explosion proof group II category 2. It is designed to comply with the requirements for installation in zone 1 and zone 2. The Statox 560 sensor head can be operated as a stand - alone unit, or as a 4-20 mA transmitter. It is a detector for toxic gases and can be operated outdoors or indoors. Extensive self – diagnosis algorithms and the relevant hardware comply with the requirements for SIL 2 applications.
