La velocità di lavoro della fs viaria fra 300 e 900 m/h a 2000/2200 giri/motore per cui i trattori devono essere dotati di superiduttore di velocità o cambio vario. Per ottenere il massimo rendi-mento dalla fs, i sassi devono essere portati in superficie (prelavorando il terreno con un tiller tip) o frantumando i sassi in andane con distanze di circa 6/8 m (con un andanatore asl).Sui sassi calcarei e spigolati, sono con-sigliati i martelli tipo stamp, mentre sui sassi silicei, granitici, di fiume e non fissi, aventi un diametro massimo di 150 mm, sono consigliati i martelli tipo special. La durata dei martelli è relati-va al grado di abrasione del terreno e dei sassi. We advice to use stamp hammers on the lime multiform stones, we advice to use special ham-mers on the flint, granite river stones not fixed with a size not over 200 mm diameter. The life of the hammers is relative to the degree of the abrasion of the ground and stones. Pour une bonne performance des broyeurs fs, il faut prelabourer le terrain avec un tiller cultivateur, de façon à ce que les pier-res montent en surface, ou faire des rangés de pierres avec une andaineuse de pierres et passer le broyeur direc-tement sur les rangés espacés d’envi-ron 6/8 m. Pour les pierres calcaire et multiformes on conseille les marteaux type stamp; pour le cailloux (silex) de riviere avec un diamètre de 150 mm on conseille les marteaux type special.
