Since our founding in 1866, Flint & Walling has been at the forefront of innovation in the pumping industry. It all began on the corner of Mitchell and Oak streets in Kendallville, Indiana, where we started by producing hand-operated water pumps and the revolutionary Flint & Walling windmill. This groundbreaking product quickly gained global recognition, setting the stage for our enduring legacy of quality and innovation.

Over the years, our product line has expanded to include a wide range of pumping solutions for home, farm, and industry. From submersible pumps to centrifugal pumps, jet pumps to booster pumps, Flint & Walling offers a comprehensive selection to meet the diverse needs of our customers. Specialty items such as city pressure booster pumps and fountain pond pumps further showcase our commitment to providing cutting-edge solutions for every application.

What sets Flint & Walling apart is our dedication to American craftsmanship and quality. We are proud to be the only pump company in the United States that manufactures its own 4-inch submersible motors, jet pump motors, and centrifugal pump motors using a majority of American-made components. This commitment to excellence extends to our controls and control packages, rounding out our extensive line of products for the water industry.

Today, Flint & Walling employs a dedicated workforce of approximately 250 individuals, many of whom are third and fourth-generation employees. Their unwavering commitment to quality and innovation has been instrumental in our success and longevity as a company.
