SONIC Drilling Machine D 88,9 - D 219,1 with Sonic drilling (rotary/vibration). The SONIC Drilling Machine is similar to a conventional type. However there is a difference in the rotary head, which creates high frequency power in addition to rotary torque. This power transmitted to the drill rod and drill bit creates a vibration to combine with torque and feed force. The interaction of torque feed force and vibration generates high drilling penetration rates in overburden and consolidated ground. The removal of the drill cuttings can be assisted by air or water flushing.
