3P Top-Up SetAutomatically tops-up your rainwater tank with mains water.FeaturesAutomatic mains water top-up for rainwatertanks with leak detection feature.The 3P Top-Up Set manages the mains watertop-up to a rain tank, so maintaining aminimum water level in your rainwater tank.FunctionsThe Level Probe senses tank water level.At low water level the solenoid valve opens.The Control Unit switches an optionallyconnected pump (not included) on and off, tosave it from running dry.Unlike inadequate “level switch & solenoidvalve only” systems, the microprocessorcontrolled system ensures a smooth,continuous supply of water and preventshysteresis of any connected pump.The Control Unit prevents the solenoid valveblocking, by testing it periodically (3 per wk).The Control Unit alarms, shutting the solenoidvalve, if the solenoid is open for over 30minutes, due to a leak either in the tank or its’feeder pipe. This is vital to meet both watercompany requirements and save water.A longer alarm delay and top-up dwell timecan be set if necessary.Includes 3P Tundish with unique integratedoverflow. Unobstructed air gap to preventpollution of potable water by backflow: meetsBS EN13076.Installation SummaryPosition the level probe in the tank at theappropriate height. Connect the mains watervia the flexible braided hose to feed gravity-feedinto the tank through the solenoid valve andtundish.Plug the Control Unit in to a standard 240 Velectric supply and optionally plug in a pump tothe front panel.The set consists of:• Control Unit - 97 x 163 x 62 mm, 0.5kg.• Level Probe - 15m cable (extendable to 30m).• Solenoid Valve - with 30cm braided hose and isolating valve (1/2“ F BSP).• 3P Tundish with overflow c/w wall mounting bracket, anti-spray nozzle and elbow.
