Jean Michel herrewyn: The energy imperativeThe newly appointed CEO of Veolia Water examines the energy and water nexus, and its implications for the way water utilities are run. Opposing the motion we have Maude Barlow, chair of Food & Water Watch and the Council of Canadians, co-founder of the Blue Planet Network, and author of Blue Covenant: The Global Water Crisis and the Coming Battle for the Right to Water. She is well-known as a passionate critic of private sector participation in water, and an advocate of access to water as a human right.
