The Mini-screenWerkingsmechanisme:Static parabolic screens find their origine in the miningin-dustry for the seperation of dry particles. At present mostapplications are in solid-liquid separation of granulates*,fibers,organic material ect. The separating principle isbased on peeling mechanism. The wedge wire screenbuilt from profiled metalwire stands at right angles to thedirection of the liquid and the flat side of the wire under acertain angel.This results in a separation of the liquid from the solids,letting the solids slide down by gravity. The separatingefficiency is about halve the slot width. On the frontside acollector catches the solids.
