Herta and Erich Zumpe start Zumpe Waren in Laufen.

1959
Production of the first pump. Production of self made sprayers for farming.

1969
Production of the first impeller pump, which is still one of the main products of ZUWA. ZUWA continues to widen their product range to include plant protection, diesel pumps and oil pumps.

1998

Petra and Helmut Wimmer take over the company. With this step the engineering company goes to the next generation.

2003
ZUWA starts manufacturing the Solarcheck Mobilcenter, which later becomes the leading filling station for solar systems.

60-year anniversary of ZUWA

ZUWA maintains itself as a family-owned business without any foreign investors. Its wide product range including pumps, sprayers, plant protection, and fill-and-flush stations is demanded and supplied world-wide.

ZUWA is reviewed by Quality Management System ISO9001:2015 and is ceritified by TÜV Süd.

2019
Mr Simon Mangelberger has been named as a new member of the executive management as per 01.07.2019.

ZUWA celebrates 75th company anniversary. For three quarters of a century the third generation family-run business ZUWA has provided the utmost quality and reliability in the field of pump technology.
