1982

It’s the beginning of the history of the industrial group: at the Flormart in Padua (Italy) the first revolutionary automatic seeder is presented “NUDO SEMI-TUTTO”, entirely conceived and realized by the founder
of the Company, Nino Urbinati. The success of this ingenious machine it is extraordinary and immediately gains a place in the market of horti-floroculture.

1993
URBINATI opens to foreign markets: new partnerships are born and its machines they begin to spread throughout Europe.

1998
From a handicraft company, URBINATI becomes a corporate Group: the factory is expanded and increases production.

2009

The URBINATI ACADEMY project has been inaugurated: on the occasion of the second Open Day, the company organizes two free days of training and technical updating on the main topics of the sector with international experts and professors of the Universities of Bologna and Turin.

2011

URBINATI FRANCE opens: the presence of the company abroad is realized in France with the opening in Miré (after Tiercè) of a reference location for customers beyond the Alps. Continuously growing, URBINATI’s machines now reach every corner of the World.

2015/16
Another great challenge undertaken by URBINATI: the V.E.L.A. Project. Guided by the LEAN PRODUCTION concept, URBINATI renews, and once again expands, his work spaces, in the continuous search to improvement its production efficiency.
