Added value in piping systemsPVC-CVDL FittingsVan de Lande B.V. (VDL) is a specialist producer of injection moulded fittings, fittings made of tube and valves for PVC-U and PE pressure pipe systems. Our products are used on a global scale in industrial systems and technical installations. VDL is now introducing in the market a range of fittings produced from Corzan® PVC-C. PVC–C: Added value in piping systems PVC-C is a post-chlorinated PVC. PVC-C has a number of distinguishing features in comparison with PVC-U which lends a significant added value to piping systems. The two most important and essential differences are:• A higher temperature resistance of up to 80 °C• An excellent chemical resistance at high temperatures.These two important additional features are combined with the favourable properties that are ascribed to PVC-U:• Corrosion resistance• Easy installation• Lightweight• Durability• Low maintenanceA complete system: fittings, pipes and ball valvesFor the PVC-C program, VDL works in partnership with Lubrizol which has built up a global reputation in the industrial market with the Corzan® PVC-C raw material. This makes that we can offer our customers a complete range of fittings, pipes and ball valves for piping systems.Areas of applicationPVC-C combines the favourable features of PVC-U with two important additional properties. A high temperature resistance (of up to 80 °C) and an excellent resistance to different chemical products such as acids and alkaline solutions at high temperatures.
