Pin-type forks are often used on large forklift trucks and construction machinery. The fork has an eyelet that is slid over a corresponding shaft on the machine. The English designation “pin-type” is also commonly used in other countries. Especially on construction machinery, pin-type forks provide for a floating function that facilitates use outdoors and on uneven surfaces. There are no standardized dimensions for the pin-type suspension.
