Waste Team Training
Any newly commissioned facility poses a need for staff training. Managers, supervisors, operators and the maintenance team require thorough operational training to fully understand the process before they are charged with running the machinery. We understand that well trained staff have a huge economic and safety benefit for your business. A full understanding of the process, material flow and products allows individuals to confidently assess how the plant is running and most importantly, when it is not running correctly. Our Waste Team Training service offers bespoke courses for your waste processing site. We specialise in training for MRF, MBT, AD and EfW facilities. Courses are designed specifically for your site and process. They are delivered onsite using a mixture of classroom teaching, plant walks and teamwork activities. We pride ourselves in understanding the needs of our learners. Learning is approached using multiple teaching techniques. The following modules are included as standard: 1. Introduction. 2. Health and safety. 3. Product – quality assurance and economics. 4. Flowsheet process overview. 5. Machine functions including: • How the machine functions • The main purpose of the machine • Maintenance requirements • Health and safety aspects to consider with each machine 6. Maintenance – preventative and reactive. 7. Environmental permits and audits.
