1 Preamble

1.1 Overview

The Waternet program is used to configure the FAST GSM network (herein referred to as “network“), which allows independent acquisition of measurement data transmitted by the radio loggers. Such data can then be forwarded to a server. Illustration 1-1 below shows a simplified network structure including the relevant components. Data flow is marked red and illustrates network operation, with the data being forwarded from Repeater Box (RB) to Repeater Box and finally being stored on a server. Data transfer among the devices during network set-up follows the blue arrows as shown below.
