Westfall Manufacturing is a small company in a small state whose patented static mixing devices are frequently chosen for big international applications.

Their most recent award comes from German engineers who connected two North Sea natural gas pipelines for a new Gassco terminal in Emden, Germany.

Westfall Manufacturing’s low headloss in-line static mixer, Model 3050, was selected to blend the gases of varying densities, compositions, temperatures and flow rates after they entered the single pipeline to the Gassco storage tanks.

Westfall specializes in over-size installations, manufacturing custom-made static mixers for pipelines from 2″ to 120″ in diameter and mixers for open channels measuring up to 20′ wide and 20′ deep.

Independent Finite Life Analysis research predicts that Westfall Static Mixers will deliver energy efficient, high performance mixing (so less additive is required) for more than 40 years with little to no maintenance.
