Slide the shorter poly auger section into the hopper tube of the auger. Install the bolt to attach the flighting to the motor. Do not over tighten the nut. Tighten it just snug to the plastic hub. 2. Take the bolt out of the bottom of the upper (longer) poly auger section. 3. Slide the longer poly auger section into the upper tube of the auger. Guide the 1” shaft through the bearing at the top end. Do not set the lock collar yet. 4. Slide the cable of the bottom section into the bottom end of the upper section. (This cable helps the section line up.) 5. Make sure the cable end is beyond the bolt hole of the upper section. Re-install the bolt in the bottom of the upper section. 6. Extend the auger, making sure the upper poly auger section slides down enough to join the lower poly auger section when the tube comes together. Make sure the sections are tight by pushing on the 1” shaft at top of the auger. 7.
