WS200 Weather Station Data Management The new WS200 is a reliable and cost efficient Windows® based data management system for controlling, monitoring, automatic collection, and data transmission of metrological and hydrological networks. Felix WS200 software is an ideal choice for any organisation willing to start small and retaining the option to grow big. When your needs grow, the WS200 can be upgraded to a full-scale data collection and storage system with a manageable database. The software is capable of communicating with pre-defined data loggers and sensor from different manufacturers. Using this integrated package, many meteorological and hydrological parameters such as air temperature, humidity, wind speed & direction, barometric pressure, radiation, perspiration, etc. can be collected form weather stations and displayed both numerically and graphically. WS200 enables the user to generate standard meteorological reports including Synop and Metar. These reports, if selected, can also be generated automatically when data is being transmitted to the control centre. In addition to the measured active parameters at the station, other parameters can be entered manually. Other reports selected by time and date and sensors from the historical data can be exported to an Excel file or sent to a printer. The analysis on the historical data such as maximum, minimum, average and plotting charts are also available. WS200 Display of real time wind speed and direction graphically and other meteorological and hydrological parameters numerically are also possible in a separate popup. Other information such as average, and maximum and minimum values of the measured parameters within specified intervals are listed on the same page. The real time variation graphs of these parameters can be plotted on separate pages. The historical data and the generated reports can be transmitted to a central office using PSTN wire or GPRS/GSM wireless network or over a local area network using TCP/IP protocol.
