The right way to handle Mixed Waste is the Mil-tek X-Press Way Restaurants Supermarkets Food Industries Problem Food Companies have a clear need to keep their production areas clean and tidy. At the same time they produce a lot of different types of waste. Cardboard, plastic and gen- eral process waste. Consequently they need to collect and handle these waste types ef- ? ciently and hygienicly. Solution Place multiple X-Press wagons at strategic points on the production ? oor to separate the waste at the waste source before compacting it in the X-Press machine. Bene? ts • The waste is well managed and the production ? oor much tidier • Improved productivity from less internal transport • Waste separation generates savings and income from recycling Problem Even the ? nest of restaurants have leftovers. Leftovers from guests and waste from the kitchen has to be discarded in an easy, hygie- nic and cost effective way. Solution The waste can be put directly into the mobile X- Press wagon, or the waste can be collected in bags and thereafter compacted in the X-Press. Also larger bags will ? t into the compactor due to the large container opening. Bene? ts • Saving space by reducing the number of containers • Reducing cost of renting and emptying of containers • Reducing smell from the waste Problem Many supermarkets have their own butcher, bakery and/or delicatessen. So on top of cardboard waste they have to handle a va- riety of waste such as e.g. meat, vegetables, fruit, polystyrene trays and plastic wrappings. Solution A Mil-tek X-Press is the ideal solution for handling this mixed waste. X-Press wag- ons can be strategically placed around the supermarket to collect the waste at the source and pushed to the X-Press machine to be compacted. Bene? ts • More bags will ? t into the container, thus saving money on containers • Ef? cient and hygienic waste handling • Tidier working environment The Miltek X-Press 100, 200 & 300 are waste compactors for mixed waste. The waste is compacted directly into a plastic bag enabling you to compact even moist waste in a convenient and hygenic way.
