The analytic division of Jordan Valley was established in 1970, under the name Seforad Ltd., with focus on lithium-drifted silicon x-ray detector fabrication. Ten years later, Seforad Ltd. changed its name to Jordan Valley Applied Radiation Ltd., and detector operations expanded to include the development of advanced ED-XRF analyzers. In June 2008 Xenemetrix Ltd. acquired the analytic division from Jordan Valley.

Xenemetrix head office is located in Migdal Haemek, Israel and forms the center of the company’s worldwide marketing, sales, service, technical support and manufacturing. Xenemetrix group continuously develops a worldwide distribution network, which enables to closely support each customer to determine their exact analytical needs.
