The Young & Franklin 8650 Series Electric Nozzle Guide Vane Actuator (ENGV) is an electromechanical actuator (EMA) for positioning the nozzle guide vanes (NGV) of a turbine output section.  The actuator is available with forces up to 22,500 lbf. and various stroke lengths. The 8650 Series ENGV features a sealed gear-train lubrication system, is self-contained and requires minimal maintenance. The entire assembly has been tested to over 20 years at temperature and load.
