Almost none of the fluids that flow through a pipeline are perfectly clear – free of pollution and other kinds of contamination. Those unwanted particles can cause a major damage to the whole pipeline system, which as a result can force the facility to limit or stop the flow of liquid. That is why strainers are an obligatory part of shipbuilding, as well as heating, steam and even power engineering installations.
