We will gauge progress made in addressing problems, learn about new efforts, and discuss remaining challenges. The three previous symposia (see archived materials at the web site) attracted nearly 300 participants each – this fourth symposium promises to be equally attractive. The `Lower Passaic River Restoration Project` will be prominently featured in the Symposium, including the `Phase 1` sediment removal by the Diamond Alkali site and the `Focused Feasibility Study` addressing the lower 8 miles. Projects and issues in the upper River and tributary watersheds will also be examined. REGISTRATION On-line registration and mail-in registration forms are now available through the Symposium web site, www.csam.montclair.edu/pri/conferences. A mail-in registration form is also included below. Registration fees (includes continental breakfast, lunch and book of abstracts): Professional: Regular (by May 21) $95, Late $125; Student: Regular $40, Late $60. Mail registrations must be postmarked by June 7th. On-line registrations will be accepted until June 15th, as long as space is available. On-site registration the day of the meeting is discouraged and will only be permitted if space is available; lunch may not be available. If attempting to register on-site, please call or email the day before to ensure space is available. On-site registrations will be assessed an additional $50 fee.
