The positive trend on accidents along with the need for a thorough reflection on the prevention of occupational diseases confirm the usefulness of Ambiente Lavoro, a unique initiative in our country that deals in depth, with sensitivity and attention, all the issues related to health and safety on workplaces.

Once again Ambiente Lavoro will complement to the exhibiting area, where the companies will present the latest innovations in products, technologies and services, a conference program without equal, reconfirming itself as an opportunity to spread and entrenchment of culture of safety in Italy.

The combination with SAIE , the main event in Bologna on the world of construction, represents a further important opportunity to address in depth the issues of safety on building sites, where more than 9% * of accidents reported occur, with a high incidence of occupational diseases.

Despite the economic crisis that affects Italian economy, Ambiente Lavoro, the most important event in Italy on the issues of health and safety on workplaces, ended with a flattering budget, recording also a slight increase in the number of exhibitors.
 
The large and qualified participation of institutions, organizations, associations, trade unions, technical and scientific bodies confirmed the attention of all categories of workers to the many disciplines included in the sector and to the transformations imposed by the evolution of regulations and technologies.  This is evidenced by the 226 crowded conferences and seminars that addressed the following topics: legislation, organization, training, technology, prevention, health services and security.
 
The last edition of Ambiente Lavoro confirmed that the Bologna event is perceived as a major one by those working under the themes proposed, especially nowadays that the severe crisis highlights once again the importance of important values set aside some time, first of all the quality and dignity of labor.
