Brownfields 2015 is the premier conference and trade show focused on environmental revitalization and economic redevelopment.  The upcoming event is the 16th National Brownfields Training Conference, which promises to attract thousands of stakeholders to the “windy city” for three days of training, networking and business development.  Since 1995, the National Brownfields Training Conference has been the most important stop on the calendar of anyone working to create better communities through cleaning up and reusing brownfield properties.  So mark your calendar for September 2-4, 2015.

Informative Educational Programming.  The backbone of the conference, each year’s educational program, features a mixture of traditional panel sessions complete with compelling presentations as well as discussion-first town meeting, roundtable, and other more conversational approaches.  New for 2015 will be two formats including a learning lounge and supplemental experts bar as well as inspirational life labs.

MOBILE WORKSHOPS

The mobile workshop component of Brownfields 2015 gives attendees the chance to see brownfield transformations firsthand. Whether it is biking, hiking, or a bus tour, these unique tours will get you out into Chicago to experience local redevelopment! These workshops give attendees the chance to see brownfields transformations firsthand. Brownfields 2015 will present an array of Chicago’s brownfield success stories and projects in progress. Interact with local experts and learn how they turned a community liability into a catalyst for revitalization.

Each conference will offer vieweings of a variety of films and documentaries that not only educate but also provide an entertaining, thought-provoking, and emotional springboard for innovations in environmental studies, stakeholder involvement, and sustainability.
