With 3,713 business people and decision makers from 53 countries attending the European Future Energy Forum in London 19-21 October 2010, the organisers are pleased to announce the next event in the European series will be held 10-12 October 2011 in Geneva.

The 2010 event was deemed a great success with HRH The Prince of Wales, David Cameron, UK Prime Minister, Chris Huhne, Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change and Boris Johnson, Mayor of London officially welcoming delegates who met to debate issues and find solutions for the future of energy.

The move to Geneva in 2011 will create a central hub for international business and government leaders to once again meet and formulate solutions to the Future Energy issues that we continue to face.

The theme for the Forum this year will be `Making Innovation Happen for a Sustainable World`, with a conference programme that aims to generate inspiration and knowledge transfer across energy sectors and geographical regions whilst focusing on actually finding solutions to turn the big ideas into feasible results.

This is an an opportunity for you to present your own ideas, demonstrate technology, debate the issues, find business partnerships, understand the policy decision making process and network with the people who will make the difference. Put the dates in your diary now (10-12 October) to make sure you don`t miss out.

Alongside the conference will be an international CleanTech exhibition where we are looking for companies who have `Cutting Edge` ideas and technology to present their products and services. This is an opportunity for you to meet government decision makers, industry leaders, consultants, advisors, investors, purchasers and journalists.

Within the Cleantech Exhibition programme there will also be opportunities for visitors to the exhibition to attend knowledge transfer sessions related to Energy Efficiency. Subjects for debate are likely to include:

  • Reducing the dependence on fossil fuels through energy efficiency in cities and transport - what are the latest cutting edge ideas and solutions? How do we practically implement through town planning and retrofitting?
  • How do we plan and fund low carbon transport alternatives with incentives that will encourage public use?
  • Lessons to be learnt from Masdar City, the Swiss Minergie Project and other case studies

If you are a business or an organisation that has solutions and business opportunities for the renewable energy or environmental technology market then this is a unique chance for you to present your products and services to an international market who are looking to invest.

Exhibition stand packages, sponsorship opportunities and meeting rooms will enable you to fully participate in this event. Tell us what you want to achieve and we will help you to meet your objectives.

What is Cleantech?

Cleantech is a term used to describe technologies, processes, products or services designed to reduce our impact on the environment through renewable energy, energy efficiency, clean transport, sustainable resource management and emission reduction. If you have products or services that you wish to promote within this sector then this is the exhibition for you.
