Fundamental Single Cell Data Analysis Workshop
This 2-day course (9-10 July) is designed for researchers who are new to the analysis of single-cell data and interested in analyzing in-house or publicly available datasets. You will learn a comprehensive analysis framework, accompanied by hands-on exercises using data from the 10X Genomic single-cell platform for transcriptomics. Familiarity with the R programming language is essential.
Alternatively, participants without prior knowledge must participate in an online tutorial before the course begins. The workshop is followed by the Single Cell Congress: Asia (11 – 12 July 2024).
COURSE CONTENT:
- Experimental study design, data import and quality control
- Standard preprocessing workflow and visualization
- Cell type annotation
- Differential expression analysis
- Brief introduction to advanced topics: Data integration techniques, cell-cell communication, trajectory analysis etc.
