Residency Requirement
AIHA staff have the option to work remotely. Most positions may work completely remote; however, the exact number of remote days varies based on the position responsibilities. Each job posting has specifics on the number of remote versus in-office days. At a minimum, all members of staff are expected to come in monthly for department meetings and every other month for staff meetings. Based on our business set-up and to maximize remote work opportunities, AIHA only employs individuals who live in Washington, DC, Maryland, or Virginia. To be considered, a candidate must live in, or be willing to relocate to, Washington, DC, Maryland, or Virginia.

Coordinator, Accounts Payable (Part-Time)

The Accounts Payable Coordinator will maintain the Accounts Payable records and supports the Finance Department. This is a part-time position with an average of 24 hours a week.

Director, Marketing

The Marketing Director`s primary responsibility is maximizing AIHA`s marketing and strategic communication activities in the most efficient and effective manner possible. It requires collaboration with AIHA volunteers and staff and covers areas including marketing, communications, public relations, and website/digital/social media development for all AIHA products, services, and activities. This position will report to Managing Director, Meetings and Outreach.
