Given the rising waste situation in the country, there is an urgent need for introduction of information, technology, methods and equipment related to all forms of waste management.
Green Middle East - Waste Management and Recycling Show has been perfectly timed to benefit from this increasing interest in waste management solutions.
Wastemanagement is increasingly moving away from being a “government-” responsibility with municipalities allocating waste & sewage management to private operators. It is now more important to reach all these new players and Green Middle East provides the opportunity to cater to an increasing group of players in the regional market.
The show will bring in municipalities, environment authorities, waste management operators, real estate developers, construction companies, free zone developers and waste treatment installation contractors to see and compare all of the latest equipment and technology in the industry, all under one roof.
The show will also offer all the solutions that are needed by visitors, apart from keeping them ahead of the curve and plan for the future by staying aware of latest trends, technologies and issues in the industry.
Industry professionals can also benefit from new and existing opportunities on offer in both the private and public sectors.

Green Middle East will be the region’s best and comprehensive platform to showcase all your products and services in the field of wastewater treatment and water technologies.
Whether it is new evaporator technology for the heavy oil industry, mobile water treatment plants for remote locations, effluent treatment technology for the food processing industry, or adsorption technology to remove toxic organic substances from water, you can help address the diverse treatment and operational needs of municipal, industrial, institutional and residential clients.
New high quality, low footprint treatment technologies, such as membrane filtration, ultraviolet disinfection, and membrane bioreactors, are in huge demand as water and wastewater utilities wrestle with increasingly stringent water quality standards, water shortages, space limitations and new regulatory requirements.
Developments in desalination technology, ozone treatment and ion exchange that have improved prospects for these technologies as viable treatment alternatives will also be highly sought after.
The wastewater and water pollution segment at the Green Middle East will be the right platform to get a good head start in the region.

Metals can be repeatedly recycled without degradation of their properties, unlike other recycled materials, such as paper and plastic. Metals from secondary sources are just as good as metals from primary sources.
The recycling of scrap metals is now a multi-billion dollar business across the world. All metals, including nickel, copper, silver, gold, lead, brass and more, are recycled.
According to experts, every time a tonne of steel is recycled, 2,500 pounds (1136.36kg) of iron ore, 1000 pounds of coal and 40 pounds of limestone are preserved.
Recycling 1kg of aluminium saves up to 6kg of bauxite, 4kg of chemical products and 14 kWh of electricity. Recycling aluminium requires only five per cent of the energy and produces only five per cent of CO2 emissions as compared to primary production and reduces the waste going to landfill.

The alternative energy segment at Green Middle East will be the right platform for leading manufacturers and suppliers of equipment and services to tap into the renewable energy and green building sector in the region.
It will cover segments such as solar energy, wind power, hydropower, geo-thermal energy, solid biofuels (biomass), liquid biofuels, and other energy-efficient technologies. The show will promote the concept of green buildings and serve as a platform to showcase latest products and innovations in the industry. The event will also be an ideal platform for exploring new business opportunities and for gaining insight into sustainable development and green architecture.
